Welcome to the AccessLocator wiki!

The tentative plan seems to be:

  1. (50% complete. A few prototype importers made but none import into application database) Research how to collect data from various data sources. Implementing a few small applications to prove that we can get the information we want from various data sources can also help us learn. If we get permission to use their data in our service, we may also use these small applications to continually bring over new information into our database.

  2. (Rough version in web application) Use what we learn to design a database structure/schema that is somewhat consistent with other data sources to minimize data loss when we import and trouble for other developers who may want to consume our api's.

  3. (Started.. Laravel app available at http://app.accesslocator.com) Develop a website, native mobile application or both which work with a published API.

  4. Document the published API to help other application developers use it.
