Development Meeting Notes Friday, April 7, 2017

An FAQ feature was tested by Kim and she gave some feedback
A few more locations were added for Amherstburg in our seed data and we're planning to add some Toronto area locations from Open Street Map before the Digifest Event
Areeba made some mockups on https://github.com/hhaccessibility/hhaccessibility.github.io/issues/276 and refined those requirements to a point where someone can work on implementing the changes
Amolbir finished the app comparison and discovery activities and became ready to work on a development issue

Blandine and Josh interviewed Sukhamrit for the VIP program
Sukhamrit's last final exam will be April 17 and he says he'll get all 3 subtasks of https://github.com/hhaccessibility/hhaccessibility.github.io/issues/254 before April 20. A github comment said all would be complete by April 15 but the discussion in the meeting made it sound like he would have a few extra days to finish it.

Blandine and Josh interviewed Amolbir for the VIP program
Will need to fill out hours for VIP for next meeting. No hours have been signed for yet since beginning the program.
Amolbir will be assigned a development issue soon since he completed the app comparison and discovery activities

Blandine, Josh, and Areeba discussed some requirements for a new advanced search feature.
Areeba made a rough sketch of how the screen could look which included some of a personalized criteria checklist like we have on the profile but for all users including ones that haven't signed up or signed in
This new feature may become part of the location search feature. For now, it has a map/table view but this could add a basic/advanced mode for each of those totalling 4 different states.
