Developments since last development meeting

  • demo 0.0.3 has been released to demo.accesslocator.com
  • Bruce, Kim, Rumana, and Stephanos attended the Digifest event in Toronto and introduced AccessLocator to people at the event
  • Amolbir and Sukhamrit helped each other get the Profile Photo delete feature ready for testing. See #276 for details.
  • Balraj got his laptop repaired and ready for development and is working on #242.
  • Kim has a new full time job and will be taking a few weeks off her work on AccessLocator
  • Navroop and Sukhamrit are in India on vacation

Brief Summary

No one came in person to the meeting but Bruce and Josh discussed some of the Digifest event. It sounded like there was an emphasis on projects involving virtual reality.

Stephanos mentioned a few days earlier the possibility of getting funding for a 3D-oriented spinoff project that could focus on virtual tours of modeled locations but this would need a lot more discussion. We have a location link feature that can link to any website including a new one offering a virtual tour of the specific location so this other project could be almost completely independent of AccessLocator.
