Hi Visitor,

It's me Mert, I am a Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering double major student at Bogazici University.
I was at University of Toronto Computer Science Department during the Fall 2018 as an exchange student.
I am hoping to further continue my studies with a PhD. I am broadly interested in the field of Machine Learning. To be a little more specific, my favourite topics are:

• Bayesian approaches Gaussian Processes and Bayesian (Hyperparameter) Optimization
  
• Machine translation by using attention mechanisms (https://arxiv.org/pdf/1706.03762.pdf is a piece of art)
  
• Uncertainty in deep networks (https://arxiv.org/abs/1506.02142 is a good read)
  
• To be honest basically anything that is random, can be differentiated and optimized.
