Installation

Requirements

• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
• The ViGEmBus driver — the installer can install it for you

Installing

1. Download rodenstick_setup.exe from the latest release.
2. Run it and follow the wizard.
3. If ViGEmBus is not present on your system, keep the Install ViGEmBus driver option checked — Rodenstick cannot create the virtual gamepad without it.

No other software is needed. In particular, vJoy is no longer used: if you installed it for Rodenstick 0.1.0, you can keep it (other software may use it) or uninstall it from Control Panel — Rodenstick 0.2.0 does not touch it.

Upgrading from 0.1.0

Install on top; the installer upgrades the existing installation. Your settings are migrated automatically to %APPDATA%\Rodenstick on first run.

Uninstalling

Uninstall Rodenstick from Windows Settings > Apps. The ViGEmBus driver stays installed (other applications may depend on it); remove it separately if you want to.
