The Issue Pages

Understanding the power sector in Nigeria comes down to four primary issues: Generation, Distribution, and Metering. The Power Toolkit dedicates a page to each of these foundational issues. You can add or edit issues from the CMS. Each Issue added gets a page and a sub-menu from the Issues drop-down menu (when the issue is published)

Editing an Issue Page

After logging in, navigate via Pages -> Home -> Issues

You can click on an existing Issue to edit it, or on the Add child page button to add a new issue.

The issue page is a little detailed.

You have the title, which appears as the header of the page as well as in the Issues menu. The intro, which is just below the header and give a brief description of the issue. Featured Image is the image that appears to the right of the title Now we have 2 sections:

1. Key Players: This contains a brief description as well as an image, represented by the "Key Players" and "Player Image" sections of the issues edit page.

2. Policy: Contains a policy background as well as a policy image field.

Finally, at the bottom of the Issue page, we have a section made up of Key Questions concerning that issue.

The key questions are items called snippets. You can get to the snippets from the main menu by clicking on the Snippets menu

Then click on the Points item on the list of snippets

This will open up the List of Points for the Issues. You can edit a specific point or add a new one by clicking Add Point on the top right corner of the page

Here you enter the question and answer. These points can thereafter be added to an issue page and they will appear at the bottom of the page.
