Progress in the last month:

  • CoverageJSON Specification:
    • JSON schema progress:
      • Polygon, MultiPoint, MultiPointSeries and Section not yet supported
  • Outstanding Issues:
    • responses to TC Vote - all closed except first, portmanteau, issue of multiple parts
    • left over Issues from CovJSON repo - most closed
  • Outstanding Pull Requests:
  • Compliance Test Suite: *JSON schema tool implementation
  • CoverageSWG coordination:
  • Update other Documentation on GitHub:

Plans for next month:

  • Corrections: Version 1.0.x nothing planned
  • Outreach:
    • Met Office hackathon: Climate Data Challenge 2022: 4th & 5th May + pre-meet on 28th April
    • Various OGC API Sprints

Longer Term Plans:

  • Non-breaking changes and enhancements: Version 1.x
  • Version 2.x

    • JSON schema progress: nearly finished
  • Outstanding Issues:
    • responses to TC Vote - all closed except first, portmanteau, issue of multiple parts
    • left over Issues from CovJSON repo - most closed
  • Outstanding Pull Requests: done - text improvements
  • Compliance Test Suite: *JSON schema tool implementation: only 5 remaining Domain types need test (Polygon, PolygonSeries, Multiploygon, MultipolygonSeries, [vertical] Section)
