• Agree Agenda and IPR Call
• Minutes/Notes of previous meeting ( recordings on the Portal )

Status: CoverageJSON

Progress in the last month:

• CoverageJSON Specification:
  • Jon Blower and Maik Reichert are making good progress developing a full JSON schema in a separate public repo
  • API-EDR V1.0.1 PR ready to add more YAML schema fragments for CoverageJSON domain sets
  • Both schemas consistent. Fragments will be removed from EDR when CoverageJSON normative
• Outstanding Issues:
  • "Clarify high-level goals" in the Scope/Abstract of the current doc still TBD
  • Some JavaScript libraries in GitHub updated,
• Outstanding Pull Requests:
  • PR30 fixes Issue #24
• Compliance Test Suite:
  • Good progress continues with a test suite and validator tool
  • Work in progress also on CovJSON Playground, to include schema validation
  • Work in progress on modules to visualise more domain types (e.g. MultiPolygonSeries, needed for a current project!)
• CoverageSWG coordination:
  • CoverageJSON files now under Coverages SWG, rather than Coverages DWG on portal
  • Portal now formally links CoverageJSON task team to Coverages SWG
• Update other Documentation on GitHub:
  • ISO19123/CoverageJSON/GeoTIFF/NetCDF comparison

Plans for next month:

• Corrections: Version 1.0.x
• Outreach:

Longer Term Plans:

• Non-breaking changes and enhancements: Version 1.x

  • No specific discussion has been had about PROJJSON, but it's still on Jon Blower's list

• Version 2.x
