Sandwich Sub: Overview

The Sandwich Sub was a platform built during the Spring semester of the 2016-17 school year as a submarine proof-of-concept. The platform has submersive capability in shallow depths and is controlled using three thrusters.

- Pressure Hull: 1X clear acrylic tube for holding electronics.

- Hull Pass-Throughs: 3X Blue Robotics Cable Penetrator for passing thruster cables into the pressure hull. (reference)

- 8020 Aluminum Extrude: Lengths of 8020 aluminum tubing for mounting, framing, and weight.
- 8020 Fasteners: Various fasteners for mounting to 8020 aluminum tubing.
