Hardware Builds

Every board the GTi family runs on. All flashable from the browser flasher; building from source is documented per-folder in the repo.

Screens (the brains)

Board Display Status Notes
Guition JC3248W535C 3.5" 480×320 IPS touch Current — recommended The main GTi. Standalone + wireless. Community 3D-printed cases exist. Source: firmware/Gotek_JC3248/ + BUILDING.md
Waveshare 7" (ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-7) 7" 800×480 RGB Beta / maintenance Big-screen build on a custom render engine. Landscape only. firmware/Waveshare_7inch/
Waveshare 2.8" (ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-2.8) 2.8" 320×240 Legacy Last LovyanGFX-based build. firmware/Waveshare_28/
CYD (ESP32-2432S028R) 2.8" 320×240 Legacy Wireless-only remote — no USB disk role. Several versions behind the current feature set; works, but don't expect the modern niceties. firmware/CYD/

Dongles (the hands)

Board Status Notes
ESP32-S3 Super Mini Preferred Cheapest, onboard antenna, no extras needed. firmware/SuperMini-S3/
Seeed XIAO ESP32-S3 Supported The original dongle; drives a status OLED; needs its external antenna attached. firmware/XIAO/

A dongle plugs into the Gotek's USB-A port, receives disk images from a screen over WiFi, and presents them to the Gotek as a USB drive. One dongle per machine; a screen can know several and you choose who to feed.

The Gotek itself

Any Gotek running FlashFloppy (the standard open firmware). The GTi talks to it purely as a USB drive — no Gotek modification, no wires soldered, nothing voided. Unplug the GTi and your Gotek is exactly as it was.

Buying / building

Everything is off-the-shelf. A complete ready-to-run kit (flashed screen, printed case, wireless dongle, leads, SD card) is available built to order — GBP 50 delivered: PayPal mesarim@hotmail.com with your postal address in the payment note. Or source the parts and build your own — the repo tells all.
