CONFIG.TXT Reference

CONFIG.TXT lives in the root of the SD card. The GTi writes a fully commented one on first boot, and self-heals: firmware updates append any newly documented keys your file is missing, without touching your settings. Edit on any PC, reboot to apply. Lines starting # are comments.

THEME	0–5	Colour theme: 0 NAVY · 1 EMBER · 2 MATRIX · 3 PAPER · 4 SYNTH · 5 GOLD (cycle live with the THEME button)
MODE	STANDALONE / WIRELESS	USB lead to the Gotek, or FLING to a dongle
LOOP	0 / 1	1 = boot cracktro loops until tapped; 0 = auto-dismiss
CRACKTRO	0–6	Boot intro: 0 random, or pick — 1 Copper Classic · 2 Starfield · 3 Rainbow Raster · 4 Plasma · 5 Boing Ball · 6 Synthwave
FONT	SMALL / NORMAL / LARGE	List text size (also on the INFO screen)
ROTATE	0 / 90 / 180 / 270	Screen rotation — easiest set via INFO's ROTATE button
COMPACT	ON / OFF	ON = maximise the list; cover shrinks to a strip
CAP	1–64	Max dongles a wireless scan will list (default 32)
TAPLOAD	ON / OFF	ON = tapping the already-selected row loads it (classic double-tap). Default OFF: only INSERT mounts
HOTSWAP	ON / OFF	ON = tapping another disk of a loaded game swaps instantly
FORCESWAP	ON / OFF	ON = swap disk contents without the USB eject/re-attach cycle (faster; some hosts may not notice the change)
SAVES	OFF / COPY / OVERWRITE	Beta channel only — save-game persistence. See Save Games (BETA)
XIAO_MAC= / XIAO_IP=	(auto)	Filled in when you pair a dongle — don't edit by hand

Defaults are sane: all the load/eject behaviour switches default OFF, which is the safest configuration — select freely, mount deliberately.
