Models and motif work

Nicole has shared a new design for a unified model/motif editor. This will replace the model repository and motif carosel with a single interface. Ben needs to work through the design and follow up with Nicole, but the current design looks to work well.

Two issues are raised. Firstly, if one interface can do both models and motifs, do we need a distinction between them? Secondly, should we keep the motif carosel as a browser-stored advanced clipboard? These will be discussed between Ben and Nicole asap.

Production release

Planned production release with colours in March. Key features

• new palette
• new palette icon
• variable colour panel
• fixed colours

Features postponed for later

• colour renaming (making colours similar to a legend)
• User selected colours

Features to be considered in future

• cell colours (requested by Matthew Clark)
