Creating a Calendar Widget

UAB Uses Localist to generate calendar widgets that pull events from the UAB Campus Calendar. Here's instructions for generating a new calendar widget that works with the UABIT CSS.

  1. Go to https://calendar.uab.edu/help/widget, then choose "Date Square" as the template.
  2. Under "Departments", select "Information Technology".
  3. Then check "Include all matching instances" and "hide past events"
  4. Lastly, uncheck "include styles".

Then select "Generate Embed Code". You can then place this code into the website in an article or module.
