Download Stats for BeatProfiler pip package
If you downloaded and installed the macOS version and see "BeatProfiler is damaged and can’t be opened" message in the image below when you try to open the app, it DOES NOT mean the software is damaged or corrupted. It means that macOS can't verify the app's developer. For a smoother public distribution experience, we are currently trying to get BeatProfiler notarized by Apple so that it is treated as a trusted software on macOS.
Here's a quick fix through a command on Terminal:
- Open up your terminal
- Enter the command:
xattr -cr /Applications/BeatProfiler.app
Note: /Applications/BeatProfiler.app is the path in which BeatProfiler is installed. By default, it will be copied to the Application folder
- Once you execute the above command, click open BeatProfiler again, and now it should open
- macOS Catalina
- macOS BigSur
- macOS Monterey
- macOS Ventura
- Intel Core i5
- M2 Max
- 8GB
- 32 GB
If the above doesn't cover your macOS config, it DOESN'T mean it's not compatible, it's just we haven't tested BP on those configs yet. We'll be closely monitoring users' issues within the first few months of BeatProfiler's release, if you found any compatibility issues, please reach out to us, and we will reply within 24 hours.
