Go into printer.base.cfg- under stepper z comment out the old position_endstop then paste the new one under it on the next line. save and restart, worked for me.

Can confirm that works yes, except I put it in the printer.cfg instead.

What about Step 2 and 3, are you doing it also with room temperature? I always go with profile temperature like 255/98 or 240/60.

thanks for the contribution, but unfortunately it's not fully correct, I can't merge it like that.

Z-endstop on this printer must never be calibrated. The only offset that has to be calibrated is Z-Probe-offset (usually in the range of -0.1 to -0.3mm). Paper test isn't really recommended for that, it's better to manually look at first layer extrusion.
