Given that we are changing the base library, I would suggest that we keep this as a separate branch rather than merging it into master for at least the near future. |

This is a proof-of-life that a ESP32-C6 build is possible. Please take a look and let me know if you have any questions, before I commit to doing a first run of the hardware fabrication.
