"Set thy heart upon thy work, but never on its reward." — Bhagavad Gita
I am a Java backend developer focused on building systems that solve real problems. I care about the quality of what I ship, the impact it creates, and the discipline it takes to build it well.
My work spans backend engineering, distributed systems, and digital public infrastructure. I contribute to open source because I believe software, when built with intent, can create lasting and meaningful change.
I approach engineering the same way I approach growth — with patience, curiosity, and a long-term perspective.
| Project | Role | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Nyay Setu | Creator & Lead Developer | Digitalizing and simplifying access to parts of India's judiciary system. Built on Spring Boot and React. |
| Jenkins | Open Source Contributor | Contributing to core automation and CI/CD pipeline capabilities. |
| GSSoC 2026 | Project Admin & Maintainer | Administering projects and mentoring contributors at GirlScript Summer of Code 2026. |
Impact over statistics. Code over recognition. Systems over shortcuts.
I maintain and review code not for visibility, but because I believe maintainers carry the responsibility of keeping ecosystems healthy. My contributions are deliberate, not performative.
Roles held: Jenkins Contributor · GSSoC 2026 Project Admin · Maintainer & Reviewer · Creator of Nyay Setu
- Distributed Systems — Designing fault-tolerant, scalable backend architectures.
- Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) — Building technology that serves populations, not just users.
- Open Source Ecosystems — Contributing to and sustaining healthy developer communities.
- System Design — Thinking deeply about how large-scale systems fail, recover, and evolve.
Engineering is not the only lens through which I understand the world. These are the things that shape my thinking outside of code.
