Recent dyld no longer falls back to /usr/local/lib for bare library names, which is where the LunarG Vulkan SDK installs libvulkan.1.dylib, so gloamVulkanInitialize(NULL) failed unless DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH was set. Try /usr/local/lib and /opt/homebrew/lib by absolute path after the bare names. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
vk-cube-rs skipped on macOS because it had no AppKit path. Regenerate its loader with VK_EXT_metal_surface and create the surface through vkCreateMetalSurfaceEXT, using raw-window-metal to give the winit NSView a CAMetalLayer. Also stop the context from being used after destroy: AppKit delivers a redraw after exit(), which hit the torn-down swapchain in --ci mode. The Rust vk-cube and vk-info examples now also try /usr/local/lib and /opt/homebrew/lib for libvulkan.1.dylib, matching the C loader. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
