The "card dropped into Planning is planned and settled" live-brain test can short-circuit: after the drop, the "leaves planning" poll could read the card's pre-drop `todo` state (its creation column) before the drop's async round-trip landed, pass instantly, and then observe it still parked in `planning` before the planning pass settled it — a flake, not a product bug.
