Roadmap

This is how I envision the evolution of berlin.

• Version 0.3
  • Release my firewall config under GPLv3
  • More documentation and branding
  • Remove any Dutchisms from the code.
• Version 0.4
  • Move all files to /usr/share/berlin, or something similar
  • Simple file-based port forwarding/opening, so it'll be easier to write dpkg triggers.
  • Add support for creating debian packages
• Version 0.5
  • QoS / load balancing
  • Package IP blacklists / HTTP whitelists separately
• Version 0.6
  • Have the deploy script install the scripts as a separate user
  • Less dependence on heavyweight apache, maybe drop it entirely in favour of lighttpd.
  • Web management interface
• Version 0.7
  • Thwart network scans as per http://jengelh.medozas.de/documents/Chaostables.pdf
• Version 1.0
  • More sophisticated manpages
  • More branding
• Version 2.0
  • Full IPv6 support (both native IPv6 and 6to4)
