fix!: let Renovate handle major-only Java pins, default to JDK 25

Problem

The Dependency Dashboard (#171) lists renovate/java-21.x under Errored with Error updating branch: update failure.

The java-version datasource returns full versions (21.0.12+101.0.LTS), the pins only carry a major ("21"). Renovate treated that as a patch update and tried to write the full version into the pin.

Changes

• renovate.json – extractVersionTemplate: "^(?<version>\\d+)" on the Java manager, so datasource versions are compared as majors only.
• renovate.json – Java majors use dependencyDashboardApproval: true instead of enabled: false: no unsolicited PR, but a checkbox in the dashboard.
• java_version default 21 → 25 in build-test-publish.yml, test-and-build.yml, publish-maven-central.yml.
• README input table and CLAUDE.md updated.

Breaking

Callers that rely on the java_version default now get JDK 25, which needs Gradle 9.1+. Pass java_version: "21" to stay. yaft-java and yaft-java-playground already pass "25" and are unaffected.

Deliberately not changed

release-android-apk.yml stays on JDK 24: numveil builds its APK with Gradle 8.14.3 / AGP 8.13.0, and Gradle 8.x does not run on JDK 25. That job only runs on push to main, so a break would not show up in a PR. Once numveil is on Gradle 9.1+, tick the Java 25 checkbox in the dashboard.

Verification

• renovate --platform=local --dry-run=lookup before: 21 → 21.0.12+101.0.LTS (patch) for the 21 pins. After: no update for the 25 defaults, 24 → 25 (major) for the android pin.
• renovate-config-validator renovate.json passes.
• actionlint .github/workflows/*.yml passes.
• Not run: yamllint (not installed locally). The dashboard entry itself can only clear on the next hosted Renovate run after merge.
