- learning isn't working properly
Turns out there was no problem, it was just really hard to see it working because of the normalization and the long tails on the Gaussians everything stayed in the center. Set the Gaussian values < .1 = 0 and now the normalization doesn't have such a ubiquitous effect on the control, can see the variance affecting each sitch.
