KeePassJS is a fork of BrowsePass by Nam Nguyen. It allows a user to view their KeePass database securely on a PC where KeePass is not installed. No data is ever sent to the web server, not even in encrypted form. It is also open source which means that anyone with the skills to do so can look for and fix security issues in the software. It currently only supports reading from the database. You cannot modify the database from KeePassJS. It supports KeePass 2.x (.kdbx) files. Support for 1.x (.kdb) files is not planned, and it will likely never be added. I recommend upgrading to 2.x which is more advanced and has more security features than the previous version.
