The PR has been available for a while, but it has not been merged. @sriram-LANL do you have any comments about merge timeline? There are no new releases since 2020.

@KineticTheory fprettify does not appear to be maintained. We have been maintaining an internal repository with this fix.

There has been a bit more activity in fprettify over the last few weeks, so I think the open PRs will be merged in the near future once the testing PR has been merged (fortran-lang/fprettify#188).
