Workspace for build infrastructure work on TheRock — the ROCm build super-project.

Setup

# Initialize (creates dirs, clones TheRock if needed, fetches submodules)
python tools/init_workspace.py

# Activate environment
direnv allow

# Configure build
cmake -B build -S sources/TheRock -GNinja \
  -DTHEROCK_AMDGPU_FAMILIES=gfx1201 \
  -DCMAKE_C_COMPILER_LAUNCHER=ccache \
  -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER_LAUNCHER=ccache

Tools

All tools are Python scripts in tools/. With direnv active, they are on PATH.

sandbox.py	Bubblewrap sandbox launcher
launch_agent.py	Launch sandboxed agent sessions by role
