Security is a priority for this project. Since Chat Buddy handles sensitive API keys (OpenAI, Google) and active WhatsApp sessions, we take potential vulnerabilities very seriously.
If you discover a security issue or vulnerability, please do not open a public issue on GitHub.
Instead, responsibly report it privately by emailing us at asadhussain2408@gmail.com. Please include:
- A detailed description of the vulnerability.
- Steps to reproduce the issue.
- Any possible mitigation steps or workarounds if you have them.
We will acknowledge your email promptly, investigate the issue, and release a fix as soon as possible. We ask that you do not publicly disclose the vulnerability until we have had a chance to issue a patch and notify our users.
