It's honestly easier to make the necessary code tweaks needed for the QoL fixes in their own fork, so I'll be superseding this PR with a better one with all the changes already implemented first go. Will update this PR when it goes live (and I HOPE that is the last one I'll have to do for this) |

Plenty of things here that desperately needed attention, and some that I certainly don't have the expertise to fix. This switch is a base that anyone can add more fixes onto as time goes by. This one supersedes TEXTURE_FIX by fixing much more than that.
Anyone is welcome to add onto this compile-time flag in the future.
