A Tampermonkey userscript that adds "Hide Image" buttons to images when hovered over on websites.
- Hover to hide: Click the X button that appears when hovering over images larget than 100x100 pixels
- Persistent storage: Hidden images stay hidden across browser sessions
- Management panel: View and restore hidden images with thumbnails
- Cross-site compatibility: Works on Reddit, Pixiv, and other sites
- Install Tampermonkey
- Click this link to install the script or copy the contents of
main.jsinto a new Tampermonkey script
- Hide images: Hover over any image to see a hide button, then click it
- Manage hidden images: Click the "👁 Show Hidden Images" button (bottom-left). This button can be dragged around in case it covers something. Clicking this opens a widget that displays the images that were hidden, alongside a button to restore them.
- **The hide button may overlap the position of other website or extention items. If that is the case, you can click the ⚙️ gear icon to change hide button position
- **Does not work on certain websites that block GM_xmlHttpRequest calls
- **Puts the hide button over some images that are not intended to be blocked, such as video previews and logos. A future version may analyze the type of website to correct this.
- **v0.1 - initial release
