Elasticsearch command line tool

Elasticsearch _cat API command line companions. Work with ES6+

• require curl

Why

Imaging we got paged at 3AM with cluster issue. Surely I would prefer

es -v allocation

over

curl -X GET "localhost:9200/_cat/allocation?v=true&pretty"`

Installation

curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rock-yu/es-util/master/es.sh > /usr/local/bin/es

chmod +x /usr/local/bin/es

Start Elasticsearch cluster (or use existing cluster)

docker-compose -f docker/cluster/docker-compose-3-nodes.yml up
