that's great! I would like to keep using rpi.pgio for my older projects, so supporting both would be necessary.

Is there currently any alternative to getting luma working on Pi5? |
Just install the package python3-rpi-lgpio. This replaces Rpi.GPIO.

This works! I replaced RPi.GPIO by gpiozero by a class emulating the needed functions of RPi.GPIO. There were minimal changes in your code, just in lib.py.
