Chain Sphere is an innovative e-commerce/e-marketplace leveraging Web 3 technology, MetaMask, Rootstock, and the Gemini API. This platform allows users to buy and sell news or inside information. It aims to provide a secure, transparent, and reliable marketplace where information is not only traded but also verified and rated by both users and AI.

Introduction

The Problem

In today's fast-paced world, access to timely and accurate information is crucial. However, the market for news and inside information is often plagued by issues such as misinformation, lack of transparency, and difficulties in verifying the credibility of sources. Traditional platforms do not offer a reliable mechanism for ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of the information being traded.
Additionally, individuals with valuable information lack means to monetize it. Why share important news or information for free?

The Solution

Chain Sphere addresses these challenges by creating a decentralized marketplace where users can securely trade news and inside information. By leveraging Web 3 technologies, we ensure that transactions are transparent, secure, and immutable. Our platform incorporates user ratings and AI verification to maintain a high standard of information accuracy and credibility.

How It Works

1. 👤 User Registration: Users sign up and create an account, connecting their MetaMask wallet for transactions.
2. 📃 Information Listing: Sellers list their news or inside information for sale, setting a price in cryptocurrency.
3. 🛒 Buying Information: Buyers browse the marketplace, purchase information, and pay using their connected MetaMask wallet.
4. ⭐ Rating System: After reviewing the information, buyers rate the seller based on accuracy and usefulness. AI also rates the information's accuracy, ensuring a robust verification system.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed on your local machine:

• 📦 npm
• 🦊 MetaMask extension for your browser

Installation

1. 📥 Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/chain-sphere.git

2. 📂 Navigate to the project directory:

   cd chain-sphere

3. ⚙️ Install dependencies:

   npm install

   pip install -r requirements.txt

Running the Application

1. ▶️ Start the development server:

   npm start

   python app.py

2. 🌐 Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000.

MetaMask Setup

1. 🔄 Install MetaMask from here.
2. 🔑 Create a new wallet or import an existing one.
3. 🔗 Connect MetaMask to the Rootstock network:
   • Network Name: Rootstock
   • New RPC URL: https://public-node.rsk.co
   • Chain ID: 30
   • Currency Symbol: RSK

Roadmap
