Loan-Prediction-ML

Developed a Machine learning model for loan repayment.

1. Implemented in python programming language.

2. Trained using catboost algorithm.

3. Used heatmaps,boxplots and distribution plots for data understanding.

4. Achieved AUC score of 0.73 on the test set.

5. Achieved overall accuracy of 80% on train and 78 % on the test set.

6. Deployed as a web app using Flask and Heroku .

7. Baseline recall for paying the loan is 77.47%.

8. Baseline recall for not paying the loan is 22.42%.
