What & why
Beads workflows can now retrieve blocker-aware ready work, claim an issue for a named worker, and write native blocking dependencies through the ATS CLI. This prepares the coordinated 0.17.0 release and fixes named undo selection.
ats tasks readyand a scopedreadybranch to RRF retrieval, with provenance and graceful degradation. Project-name scopes retain matching native results.ats update PROJECT ISSUE --claim --agent NAME, owner readback, same-actor retries, approval gates, and refusal of mixed claim/field updates.ats link add|remove --type depends-on --native, with previews, review preconditions, readback, cycle checks, and preservation of other native relationship types.ats undo ACTION_IDnow honors the requested action rather than choosing the latest write.npm test.Type

Based on main at
cc0732b7d599adb70b3f14f21c0f70b31c788f4f. Runtime changes are in the CLI, Beads adapter, and optional retrieval branch; the MCP server implementation is unchanged. No new adapter is added. Examples use disposable generic data, and the full repository gate covers the core changes across adapters.Native edge writes and reviewed target checks use separate backend reads and writes; direct Beads writers can race after those checks. Claiming a named issue checks status and ownership, while readiness comes from a separate
readyread. Claims and native edges require their explicit backend operations to reverse them.
