What I see as the root cause

1. Tag parsing – The current parseTags implementation in src/parser.ts (or the equivalent module) splits the tags column by commas but does not normalise whitespace or handle the OPEN_BOUNTY flag as a first‑class identifier. This leads to the flag being dropped in downstream processing, which in turn prevents the bounty‑specific logic (e.g., prioritisation, UI badge rendering) from being triggered.
2. Missing schema entry – The TypeScript interface PostMetadata does not contain a boolean openBounty field, so even if the tag is parsed correctly the data model discards it.
3. Lack of coverage – There are no unit tests that exercise a row containing the OPEN_BOUNTY tag, so regressions can slip through unnoticed.

Proposed fix

1. Extend the data model

   This makes the flag explicit and type‑safe.

2. Robust tag extraction
   Update the tag parser to:

   • Trim whitespace around each token.
   • Normalise case (OPEN_BOUNTY → open_bounty) for internal consistency.
   • Populate the new openBounty field while preserving the original tag list for backward compatibility.

4. Add comprehensive tests

   • Unit test for the parser with a fixture containing the two lines above, asserting openBounty === true and that the rest of the fields are unchanged.
   • Integration test that runs the full ingestion pipeline on a mock CSV file containing an OPEN_BOUNTY entry and verifies that the downstream consumer receives the expected enriched metadata.

5. Documentation update
   Mention the new openBounty field in the README’s “Data Model” section and add a short note in the changelog.
