- Add support for Brave browser internal pages (e.g., brave:// URLs) - Improve compatibility with tab suspender extensions - Centralize settings management and improve persistence - Implement auto-sort functionality for new tab creation and URL updates - Add toggle in popup UI to enable/disable auto-sort - Improve tab group handling with alphabetical sorting and group order preservation - Add undo functionality for last sort operation with popup button - Introduce new sorting mode: last access time - Fix manifest.json path handling for cross-platform support - Enhance error handling, type checking, and modularity - Add JSDoc documentation and general code cleanup Tested on Brave (Linux), Chrome (Windows/Linux), with various tab suspender extensions.

Thanks @chirayu-khandelwal, I really appreciate the effort you put into this but it's a pretty major change and out of scope with respect to my goal of ending development, aside from bug fixes, for Simple Tab Sorter in favor of having users switch to Super Tab Sorter if they want a more feature rich experience.
I'd be more than happy to review and test a similar PR if you would like to merge these changes into https://github.com/pwhite2/super-tab-sorter.
