Sulgemise kuupäeva väljale pannakse objekti loomisel n-ö surrogaatkuupäev. Kui objekt nüüd (loogiliselt) ära kustutatakse, siis pannakse kuupäevaks tänane kuupäev. Seega on NOT NULL tingimus täidetud. Pealegi kui keegi prooviks NOT NULL väljale ikkagi NULLi panna, siis annaks andmebaas viga. |
