Installation

To install the TwinCAT ProductivityTools, follow these steps:

1. Download the latest installer.
2. Select the Visual Studio and TcXaeShell versions, which the Extension should be installed for.
3. Click on "Install".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

  • Freeze TwinCAT XAE / PLC project

• IDE

  • Open in Visual Studio Code
  • Open in File Explorer

• PLC

  • Remove all comments
  • Remove all regions

• EtherCAT

  • Enable ADS Server
