[Bug] Clicking "New Game" from same session creates 2 different boards

Issue: When multiple users are in a single session, clicking "New Game" creates a separate board for each user.

Expected behavior: Multiple users in a single session should all have the same single new game created, so users can continue playing games in the same session

Workaround: create multiple sessions to play multiple games. I.e. create "gamesession1" for the first game, create "gamesession2" for the second game, etc.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new session in separate browser windows or devices with the same name.
2. Click on a few cards until the "New Game" button appears in the top right corner
3. Click "New Game" from each browser window or device, and separate boards get created (see attached screenshot for a sample)
