Has there been any progress on this? I can make the fixes needed to land this if it helps (at least to land the 'fork me' option). |

I no longer have merge permissions in this org, so I'm not going to be able to help anymore sadly! If GitHub would like to add me back I would be happy to contribute as I have free time to do so but for now I'm not able to help out. |

This will add config variables to remove the top 'Fork Me' ribbon and the link to the github repo in the footer.
