When creating a new entry in Aggregated Data (level 1) for the "Random Genotyping" type of submission, all the fields are automatically pre-populated by the tool (not editable) except for the Allele 1 and the Allele 2 fields which are mandatory.

  • Data check: not editable, contains error/warning messages which guide the user during the editing
  • Type*: not editable, pre-populated with "random genotyping"
  • Species*: pre-populated with "Sheep (Ovis aries L.)"
  • Husbandry system*: pre-populated with "Farmed"
  • Age class~: pre-populated with "Not applicable"
  • Target group~: pre-populated with "Not applicable"
  • Sex*: pre-populated with "Mixed females and males"
  • First test type~: pre-populated with "Molecular characterisation/Genotyping"
  • First test~: pre-populated with "Genotyping"
  • Herd/Flock status~: pre-filled with "Not applicable"
  • PSUId~: pre-populated with "Not applicable"
  • Negative~: pre-populated with "Not applicable"

The TSE tool (v.1.2.4 or greater) allows the insertion of more than one Random genotyping (RGT) rows per monthly report. Each combination of the Allele 1 and Allele 2 fields corresponds to one genotype. One new RGT row must be inserted for each genotype detected by the country in a reporting/sampling month. For example, if four different genotypes were found in the samples collected from sheep for RGT in February, four RGT rows must be inserted in the February report with the corresponding combinations of Allele 1 and Allele 2 fields. Please note that the tool will not accept more than RGT records with the same combination of the Allele 1 and Allele 2 fields (i.e. same genotype).
