Read only shares only appear to load on VM startup or at the very least be considerably slow in updating.
Context: editing a file on host-side, save it -> look in tart vm, file is not updated
Some online results say this could be caused by file touch times not lining up due to VM being in a diff TZ than the host, but that's not true in my case.
