How to create an exercise video
- Install Blender >= 2.8
- Register and Download at Adobe Mixamo a character (I used Sophie and David) and optional with some predefined Animations
- Download openWorkout setting blender file
Open Blender and the openWorkout setting blender file. To import the model into Blender, download the (animated) character as fbx format and import it via File->Import->FBX(*.fbx). Rename the Armature
name in the Scene Collection as you want.
In the timeline of Blender insert/delete manually keyframes or enable/disable auto keyframes. For more information how you do it, watch some Blender tutorials. I can recommend this videos by BornCG.
To see all keyframes in the view go to View->Frame all. To select the preview range press "P" on the keyboard and select all keyframes that you would like to see in the final video.
You can add a box or a wall by toggle the viewport (eye symbol) on the right side of an object. You can find the Outliner -> Scene.
If you want to render and export the current animation, click on the right side the "Output Properties". Make sure that the Frame start and the end matches with the preview start/end frame number. Use as a file format ffmpeg and as container MPEG-4 and specify the output path. Now you can render your animations via Render->Render animation or for a single photo Render->Render image. You should be find the rendered video in the output path.
