odin-recipes

This is my first HTML project from The Odin Project.
It is a simple recipe website built using basic HTML only.

✨ What I Learned

  • How to structure an HTML document
  • How to use semantic HTML tags like <header>, <main>, <section>, <article>, and <footer>
  • How to create links between multiple HTML files using <a href="">
  • The importance of clean, readable code and indentation
  • How to make commits using Git and push to GitHub

🔍 Self-Reflection

This was my very first real project with HTML.
At first, even basic things like creating links and writing clean structure felt confusing.
But step-by-step, I began to understand how HTML documents are built.
I still find Git and commit messages confusing, but I'm improving.

Going forward, I will:

  • Commit frequently with meaningful messages
  • Follow best practices for Git usage
  • Keep improving my understanding of HTML and CSS structure

✅ Next Steps

  • Revisit this project after learning CSS and style it
  • Build more complex projects combining HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Keep improving my Git commit habits and write more meaningful messages
