Hi, I'm Nadav Weisler

Applied Data Scientist · Research Software Engineer · Cognitive Science Researcher

I build software and data tools for psychology, behavioral experiments, mental health research, and research workflows.

Some projects are built for real research use.
Others start as prototypes, hackathon ideas, or side experiments — and sometimes become useful.

About me

I work at the intersection of software engineering, data science, psychology, and mental health research.

My focus is building practical tools that help researchers move from messy ideas and messy data to usable systems, clean analyses, and reproducible workflows.

I especially enjoy projects that combine:

  • behavioral and cognitive science
  • research data infrastructure
  • online experiments
  • health and mental health data
  • AI-assisted research workflows
  • fast prototyping and hackathon-style product building

Main things I build

Research software

Tools for designing, running, and managing psychology and cognitive science experiments.

Data pipelines

Cleaning, transforming, analyzing, and visualizing behavioral, clinical, and research datasets.

Experimental platforms

jsPsych, PsychoPy, Pavlovia, JATOS, and custom experiment components.

Prototypes and side projects

Small apps, hackathon projects, automation tools, and ideas that are interesting enough to build.
