I am a...

Cyber Security Enthusiast, student and aspiring professional

  • I'm currently building proficiency in python, bash, and others...
  • I love digging, investigating, finding things and learning...
  • I am also working on other things...
  • I enjoy rabbit holes and expanding on odd thoughts and curiosities...

I'm actively learning cybersecurity and related tools, concepts and methodologies via various platforms, primarily TryHackMe but also others...

Click here to check out some of these activities! NOTE: UNDER perpetual CONSTRUCTION (like a New Jersey road project)

TryHackMe has an ample offering of free rooms to practice and build up that muscle memory. While the free rooms are great, it's nice to have extra time to work through some of the more challenging, progressive rooms. Especially on those days when your brain is working, and you feel good working through a room.

Having said all of that, if you're interested in a subscription, please check out the link below for a $5 credit towards your premium access. Student discounts are available as well.

What Else I'm Working on:

Currently self learning pretty much everything. Lately my focus has been on:

  • Developing a static site to serve as a personal blog
  • Trying to expand on my very simple home lab with zero budget
  • Watching bad guys attack my honeypot and investigate source ips, file uploads, etc, primarily using Virus Total
  • Learning to set up Elastic Stack (at minimal to no cost) to ingest logs from my honeypot which is hosted on AWS (free tier)
  • Setting up a Raspberry Pi to serve as an additional honeypot (what? I love honey)
  • Other things, many other things...

🛠️ TOOLS I'm Working with and Learning

I guess I'll drop some of these (some of the things, because!)
