Sprint 122: July 14-August 4, 2021, Release 2.79

● [3340] Investigate impact of tombstone of FileSets on EPUB
For resources that are embedded in the EPUB and have a permissions expiration date,
once the expiration date is reached, the following behavior will happen:
The resource is tombstoned on the FileSet page. The image will disappear and is replaced with language stating that the rights have expired and to contact the publisher.
The resource that is embedded in the EPUB remains displayed as an embedded (enhanced) resource.

● [3902] Meet BE2 (Baseline Expectations 2) Requirements for InCommon
This ticket completes the work necessary to meet the InCommon requirements by July
19, 2021.

● [3906] Use original EPUB as download version [SUBTASK OF 3061]
This ticket is part of a larger series of work to dynamically enhance the EPUB. This ticket
focused on:
Uploading the original EPUB file to Fulcrum as the FileRepresentative
Once on Fulcrum, creating a hidden derivative, which is the processed version of the EPUB, that only the e-reader uses.
Making the original EPUB the downloadable version.

● [FULCRUMOPS-13] Query usage data for PSI trial dashboard
PSI wants to trial a new dashboard, so this ticket focused on generating a csv with their
metadata requirements, including: time stamp, IP address, monograph title,
chapter/resource title (if applicable), and creators.

● [3958] Map DLPS_ institution _id to one or more affiliations with an Institution [SUBTASK
OF 3739]
● [3977] Revisit Current Institution Logic And Institution Identifier Usage [SUBTASK OF
3739]
These tickets are part of a series of work related to adjusting the alumni and library-
walk-in access per institution.

● [3976] Add Amherst to List of Presses that Embed Resources in EPUBs
While the ticket’s title is specific to Amherst College Press, this work was applied to all
presses. We removed the press-related logic to allow all presses to embed materials into
their EPUBs.
