Builds and installs just fine but the
openssl
module doesn't find our OpenSSL at build time.It can be directed to the right place at runtime using the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH
environment variable, at which point it then fails because it can't perform certificate verification. Problem is that there's logic for darwin within the modules & I suspect it is trying to use the ancient system root certificates keychain.Left out anything related to OpenSSL in this initial draft.
Tested on Tiger powerpc (G5) with GCC 4.0.1
