   Vetted 2026-07-17. There is exactly one plan.clone() per iteration (orchestrator.rs:3849) and the code needs it: the original plan is still read after the iteration context is built. Task results are truncated to ~2k chars before storage when artifacts are on, so the clone stays small. Closing as immaterial.
