We ran about 35 afternoon events at the world famous Breakfast Creek Hotel from October 2025 to mid September 2026 mainly on Monday nights. The first event was on a Wednesday afternoon. The second and third events were on Tuesday afternoons. From the 4th event onwards we played Mondays initially starting at 4:30pm but then transitioning to 5pm and then later to a 5:30pm start. Thursday meetups started on the 16th of July.
Over a two day period from Friday the 31st July to Sunday the 2nd of August we ran 4 unplanned meetups at the Breakfast Creek Hotel. At all 4 events chess was played including two highly successful events on both Friday and Saturday nights from about 9:15pm for about 2.5 hours.
