There is script that accesses the NIST data base (https://physics.nist.gov/PhysRefData/FFast/html/form.html). It requires wget and w3m which you can install on Debian-class systems with apt install wget w3m.

Then get the script at http://mcxtrace.org/download/components/3.0/data/get_xray_db_data and use it with syntax:
where ATOMNO is the atomic number Z.
The generated files look like the Mo.txt. They are used to compute the absorption of materials.
Mo.txt
